"Our organization has been working with low-income Middlesex County residents since 2000, and the Diaper Bank began in 2010. This year we distributed almost 124,000 diapers to over 800 families in Central New Jersey, and we also provide clothes, car seats and other basic needs," said Deborah Cherniss of the Anshe Emeth Community Development Organization. The Central Jersey Diaper bank is a project of the AECDC.

It is physically based within the Jewish Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick. It is not affiliated with the temple, although some board members are also temple members.
