Highland Park Farmers' Market Festival This Friday

HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Highland Park, which has a farmers' market every Friday, will also be throwing a farmers' market festival this Friday, June 28.

The festival means there will be extended hours at the farmers' market, so it will be open from 11 a..m. - 6:30 p.m. on festival days (they usually close at 5:30). There will also be free activities for kids, such as a scavenger hunt (pick up directions in the Main Street tent), chalk art (free chalk provided for kids all day) and a Jenga challenge from 2-6 p.m. (tallest tower constructed by the rules gets a $200 gift bag of farmer's market goodies.)

The farmers' market is located at 218 Raritan Avenue, Highland Park, NJ. The Highland Park farmers' market runs through December.

There will also be live music from Sudaroo this Friday from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

The borough of Highland Park also puts on live music in the outdoor "living room" location downtown on the corner of Raritan and North 4th Avenue. This Friday June 28 Bren Yama is performing from 7-8:30 p.m. Highland Park will be offering this free live music every Friday night this summer.

There will be six total Highland Park Farmers' Market Festivals in 2019, all of which have extended market hours until 6:30 p.m.:
