Highland Park Farmers' Market Resumes May 3

HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Get ready for more fresh fruits and veggies! The weekly Highland Park Farmers' Market resumes on Friday, May 3 this year. It will be open every Friday thereafter throughout the summer from 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The farmers' market is located at 218 Raritan Avenue, Highland Park, NJ. The Highland Park Farmers' Market resumed a month earlier than normal this year, after their winter hiatus — yay! They actually run through December.

Opening day will feature live music from Suzy Jivotovski and Jersey-fresh fruits and veggies, pickles, cheese, eggs, meat, wine, nuts, artisan offerings and more. And don't forget about the Highland Park 5K, also happening that weekend, Sunday, May 5.

Some of the vendors at the Highland Park Farmers' Market are: Von Thun's country farm market (Monmouth Junction, produce), R&K Farm (Monroe, eggs and produce), Jeff's Organic Produce (Cream Ridge, NJ), So Tealicious (loose-leaf teas, New Brunswick), Christopher Soaps (South River), Chevere Latin Food (Spanish food, Oldwick, NJ), Country Bird and Garden (Old stage honey, Spotswood, NJ), Sensible Rewards (Natural dog treats, Hightstown), Holistic Hemp Extracts (dietary, health hemp oil supplements, Bucks County, PA), Cherry Grove Farm (cheese and meats, Lawrenceville, NJ), Hoboken Farms (bread, cheese, tomato sauce, prepared entrees) and more.
