Homeless Prayer Service/'Holiday Blues' Mass In New Brunswick

Remember the homeless at a prayer service Dec. 21 at Sacred Heart Church, followed at 7 by a service for those feeling the "holiday blues."

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — This Friday, Dec. 21 Holy Family Parish in New Brunswick will be hosting a prayer service for the nation's homeless, called the Middlesex County National Homeless Persons' Memorial Service.

This memorial service is always celebrated on the longest day of the year, which is Dec. 21.

The event starts at 5 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church 56 Throop Avenue in New Brunswick. The parish is also having a "Blue Christmas Mass" for those who are experiencing the blues during this holiday season, which starts at 7 p.m., also on Friday, Dec. 21.
