Martin Luther King Day Ceremony, Single Mingle This Week in New Brunswick
A guide to events scheduled this week in New Brunswick.

1. UPDATE: The New Brunswick Board of Education meeting scheduled for Jan. 21 has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at New Brunswick High School.Â
2. Saint Peter's University Hospital will host its annual Martin Luther King Day interfaith service celebration at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22. All are welcome.Â
3. Play table tennis with New Brunswick 4-H from 3-5 p.m. Wednesdays at the Hub Teen Center, 411 Joyce Kilmer Ave.Â
4. Meet new people at a Single Mingle at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 at V Lounge, 25 Liberty St.
5. The New Brunswick Historical Society will feature author Dr. Scott Brown speaking about James P. Johnson, the influential jazz composer and Harlem Stride pianist at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Henry Guest House, 58 Livingston Ave. Johnson was also a New Brunswick native. Light refreshments will be served.
