Meet Middlesex County's First Babies Of The New Year
Baby girl Genevieve Kosinski was born at 12:05 a.m. Jan. 1 to parents Jon and Gina Kosinski at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — What a cutie! This little boy born to Milltown parents before dawn on New Year's Day welcomed in not only a new year, but also bade farewell to a year most of us would like to forget.
Baby boy Aryan Patel was born at 3:29 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021 at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Weighing in at seven pounds, 15 ounces, the baby boy was welcome by parents Chirag (father) and Bhumika (mother) Patel of Milltown.
Baby Boy Patel is not the first baby of the new year born in Middlesex County: Baby girl Genevieve Kosinski born at 12:05 a.m. to parents Jon and Gina Kosinski, of the Fords section of Woodbridge, at Raritan Bay Medical Center. Another was born at JFK Medical Center in Edison at 6:08 a.m.

Twin girls were born at RWJUH New Brunswick New Year's Day at 12:39 p.m. and 12:55 pm. The twins, Jade Eloni and Jasmine Elle were born to parents Joelle Chriss and Darius Mayes.
And Baby Boy Patel was not New Jersey's first baby born in the new decade: That distinction goes to Baby Boy Damon, born to Jessica and Steve Palaia, of Pompton Lakes right at the stroke of midnight at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, reports the Daily Voice.

In Monmouth County, Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch had a baby born at 12:01 a.m. and a baby was born at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune at 12:05 a.m., said a spokeswoman for those hospitals.
