New Brunswick High School Nurse Killed in Car Accident
Anne Egan was killed in a three-car accident in Sea Girt on Wednesday morning.

Anne Egan, a nurse for New Brunswick High School was killed in a car accident Wednesday morning as she was on her way to work.
According to a story on Howell Patch, Egan, 59, of Sea Girt, was driving a 2010 Subaru Forester north on Route 34 in Howell at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday.
Her car was struck by a 2011 Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by 24-year-old Daniel Boden of Morganville that crossed the center lines of the road for unknown reasons according to the report.
The impact caused her car to spin into the northbound shoulder of Route 34 facing east, where he was struck by a 2007 Ford Focus driven by 34-year-old Sharon Jensen of Forked River.Â
Witnesses attempted to help Egan, including a South Bound Brook police officer on his way to work, according to the report.

She was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 8:05 a.m., according to the report.
A letter from New Brunswick High School principal Janene Rodriguez posted Wednesday on the high school's website said that bereavement counselors, teachers and staff will be available to counsel students on Thursday.Â

Boden was also taken to the hospital to a leg injury and a possible head and neck injury, according to the report.
No charges have been filed at this time.Â
