New Brunswick Woman Fatally Shot Man While He Drove, Police Say
An innocent bystander driving his car was shot and killed at 4:30 Monday afternoon on Handy Street in New Brunswick.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A New Brunswick woman has been charged with murder in connection to the incident where a man was shot and killed while driving Monday afternoon in the city of New Brunswick.
The woman, Rhadisha Maurrasse, 35, of New Brunswick was taken into custody Tuesday morning.
Police say the man, Delfino Aparicio-Lopez, 46, of New Brunswick, was shot and killed while driving his car at 4:30 Monday afternoon on Handy Street, near Paul Robeson Boulevard, in New Brunswick. He was pronounced dead at a city hospital.

Police say Aparicio-Lopez was not her intended target and he was an innocent bystander who just happened to be shot.

She was charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
