New BurgerIM Location Opening In Piscataway

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A popular New Brunswick burger joint is expanding with a second location in Piscataway:

BurgerIM's first outpost in New Jersey is currently located on Easton Avenue in New Brunswick, where they attract hungry Rutgers students. But this fall they're opening two more locations nearby: In Centennial Plaza in Piscataway and in the Hub shopping center in Metuchen, at the corner of Middlesex Ave and Central Ave.

BurgerIM offers gourmet burgers with a variety of different toppings (think along the lines of Smashburger). What makes them different is the nine types of patties they offer: beef, dry aged beef, wagyu beef, merguez (spicy beef), turkey, lamb, chicken, salmon, veggie, and chorizo. They also serve chicken wings, salads, fries, onion rings, and desserts, and have gluten free options.

Their Piscataway location will be at 1358 Centennial Avenue, across the street from the Lowe's.

It's not clear when the new locations will open. BurgerIM is also opening branches in Englewood, Newark, and Union.
