NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Attention, Star Wars fans: The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra will play a series of live screenings of Stars Wars classics "A New Hope" and "The Empire Strikes Back," recreating John Williams' Oscar-winning scores as the movies play in the background.

  • Friday, Nov. 23 - Count Basie Center for the Arts (Red Bank)
  • Saturday, Nov. 24 - New Jersey Performing Arts Center (Newark)
  • Sunday, Nov. 25 - State Theatre New Jersey (New Brunswick)

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra will perform the music from "The Empire Strikes Back" on the following dates:

  • Thursday, Jan. 3 - Count Basie Center for the Arts (Red Bank)
  • Friday, Jan. 4 – Count Basie Center for the Arts (Red Bank)
  • Saturday, Jan. 5 – New Jersey Performing Arts Center (Newark)
  • Sunday, Jan. 6 - State Theatre New Jersey (New Brunswick)
