PISCATAWAY, NJ — Spend Father’s Day weekend enjoying America’s past time, the old-fashioned way! This Saturday, June 15 at 12 p.m., the Neshanock Base Ball Club of Flemington will take on the Liberty Base Ball Club in the annual Father's Day Vintage Baseball Game at Liberty Grounds Baseball Field in Piscataway.

There is free admission and parking to the game. This event is rain or shine. East Jersey Old Town Village and the Liberty Grounds Baseball Field are located inside Johnson Park at 1050 River Road in Piscataway.

“These free events offer a day in the park that dad will remember, sharing our national pastime and exploring the roots of rock and roll,” said Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and most importantly, bring your dads to celebrate this special day.”

“The concert is a fun look at the sounds that today’s popular music evolved from. If you enjoy the music, be sure to check out our exhibit ‘Mid-Century New Jersey: The Garden State in the 1950s’, at the Cornelius Low House Museum,” said Freeholder Kenneth Armwood, Chair of the Business Development and Education Committee. “Happy Father’s Day, everyone!”
