The Raritan River Festival and Rubber Duck Race will be held Sunday at Boyd Park in New Brunswick.

The Raritan River Festival and Rubber Duck Race will be held Sunday at Boyd Park in New Brunswick.
The event, which runs from noon to 6 p.m., also includes the Beez Foundation Rubber Duck Race.
Up to 5,000 rubber ducks will drop from a “giant duck egg” into the canal, then race to the finish line.

There will also be cardboard canoe races, craft and food vendors, kids activities, live music and a historical water taxi at the free event.

To “adopt” a duck, visit the beezfoundation.org. Proceeds benefit that foundation, which raises money to fight brain cancer in children.
