Rutgers Hit With "Denial Of Service Event" Monday
The Rutgers Office of Information Technology said in a Tweet that its its staff was working to restore service.

Rutgers University’s internet system on Monday was “experiencing a denial of service event affecting Internet connectivity and Wi-Fi access,” a university spokesman said.
Email service was also down early Monday afternoon, according to a Tweet from the Eagleton Institute of Politics.
The Rutgers Office of Information Technology said in a Tweet that the school’s network was experiencing technical difficulties, but its staff was working to restore service.

“The Office of Information Technology is working to resolve the issue and we will inform the Rutgers community as soon as we have more information,” the spokesman said.
Earlier this year, the university’s network was twice hit with denial of service attacks.
