Rutgers Ranked Among Top 100 Universities Globally

Two New Jersey universities were ranked among the top 100 in the world by U.S. News and World Report.

Princeton was ranked No. 13. The school was ranked No. 3 in mathematics, No. 5 in space science, No. 8 in physics, No. 7 in both global research and regional research reputation, No. 14 in arts and humanities, and No. 8 in computer science.
Rutgers was ranked No. 60. The school was ranked No. 18 in agricultural sciences, No. 25 in arts and humanities, No. 34 Mathematics, No. 66 in economics and business, and No. 104 in psychiatry and psychology.

The second annual rankings encompass the top 750 institutions spread out across 57 countries — an increase from the top 500 universities in 49 countries ranked last year. The rankings were produced to provide insight into how universities in and out of the United States compare with each other.
