NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — State Theatre presents the 14th annual New Jersey Family Day, which will be held on Sunday, September 22. It will feature shows of Jason Bishop: Straight Up Magic at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets range from $15-$39.
State Theatre, located in the heart of New Brunswick across the street from the Heldrich Hotel, usually hosts their popular "Family Day" event twice a year. The last time they did this was in February, and it was attended by yours truly at Patch and it was a lot of fun.
But this September they've landed a big-name act with Bishop: From his mind-blowing levitation and walking through a brick wall to his cutting-edge teleportation and plasma illusions, Bishop dazzles audiences with his original, state-of-the-art magic.
