Tree Lighting, Chili Cookoff, Faraday Lecture Friday in New Brunswick

1. The annual he New Brunswick tree lighting and chili cookoff will take place from 5-7 p.m. tonight Friday, Dec. 6 in Monument Square.

2. Free horse-drawn carriage rides will take riders around the downtown between 6-9 p.m. tonight. The carriages will pick up riders at the Hyatt Regency on Albany Street.

3. The 16th annual Rutgers Faraday Christmas Children's Lecture will delight people of all ages with exciting and visual physics and chemistry experiments. The free 90-minute program will be held at 7 p.m. tonight in the Rutgers Physics Lecture Hall on Busch Campus in Piscataway. Two additional shows are scheduled for Sunday.
