An unattended bag briefly stalled an NJ Transit train that departed from the New Brunswick station Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 11.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — An unattended bag briefly stalled an NJ Transit train that departed from New Brunswick Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 11, NJ Transit officials confirmed to Patch.
The unattended bag was found on train #3848 on the Northeast Corridor line, which departed from New Brunswick station at the 1:36 p.m. Wednesday.
The item was cleared by police, said NJT spokesman Jim Smith. That train continued with a 17-minute delay. Smith did not say what kind of bag it was, or where exactly on the train it had been found.
