Volunteers are needed for the annual Trunk or Treat event at Lord Stirling Community School in New Brunswick.

Volunteers are needed for the annual Trunk or Treat event at Lord Stirling Community School in New Brunswick.

Children can trick-or-treat out of the backs of cars belonging to community groups and residents.

The event runs from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 30, in the school parking lot, 101 Redmond Street.

It is free and open to the community.

Organizers are seeking volunteers who are willing to bring their cars to the lot and hand out candy.

Candy donations are also being accepted.

The event is sponsored by the New Brunswick 4-H and Unity Square.
