Weight Loss Seminar, Brown Bag Lunch Program This Week in New Brunswick

1. The New Brunswick Chapter of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Christ Reformed Church, 5 Paterson St. 

2. Learn about Bariatric weight loss at a free seminar at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at Saint Peter's University Hospital. Registration is requested. 

3. The latest session of the Brown Bag Lunch program is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the New Brunswick Free Public Library. The program will feature Cheryl Wall, Board of Governors Zora Neale Hurston Professor of English at Rutgers and a literary critic specializing in Black women’s writing, gender and sexuality, according to the library. Coffee and tea will be served.
