4 Things To Do In Ocean City This Week: Oct. 1-6
Activities include a showing of "The Marvelous Wonderettes" and the Jeep Invasion.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Here are four potential Ocean City activities this week.
"The Marvelous Wonderettes"

The Ocean City Theatre Company presents a smash off-Broadway musical that takes the audience back to 1958, when the Springfield High prom unexpectedly loses its musical act.
An international hit, this cotton candy-colored musical features classic hits from the ’50s and ’60s such as “It’s My Party,” “Lollipop,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” "Leader of the Pack,” “Respect” and “Mr. Sandman.” The show features a cast of performers from New York City and is presented by special arrangement with Stage Rights.

Jeep Invasion
12-5 p.m. Saturday, boardwalk from Fifth Street to 14th Street
About 500 jeeps will invade the boardwalk. The event raises money for local charities and awards trophies for best Jeeps in various categories. The show also includes vendors displaying and selling accessories at the Music Pier and on the 500 block of the Boardwalk.
Table Sales
At the same time as the Jeep Invasion, merchants will set up table sales with discounted items between Sixth Street and 14th Street on the boardwalk and Asbury Avenue. Table sales will take place Saturday and Sunday.
Race Judicata 5K Run and 1K Fun Run
The race raises money for local high school seniors' scholarships. Registration starts at 7 a.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier, and the race starts at 8 a.m. The course is on the boardwalk.
