Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant and Playland Castaway Cove in Ocean City are celebrating Mother’s Day this weekend by offering free rides to Mom.
Over at Playland Castaway Cove, mothers can ride free Saturday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is offering free admission to mothers with a paying child all day on Sunday at these attractions: Amusement Park, Adventure Lookout Ropes Course, Castaway Cove Mini Golf and Lighthouse Point Mini Golf.
Asbury Park Bandshell Concert
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center starts its "Up On The Roof" concert series in Asbury Park on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The concert will feature the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra (PRO), which only plays the works and arrangements of famous Asbury Park bandleader Arthur Pryor.
The newly restored Arthur Pryor Bandshell is located on the boardwalk at Fifth Avenue.
Cape May Spring Sidewalk Sale
Spring Sidewalk Sales at the Washington Street Mall will run Thursday, May 13 to Sunday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Staff and shoppers are asked to wear masks.
The Washington Street Mall features clothing boutiques, antique stores and sweet shops.
In the event that two days are rained out, the sale will move to May 22 and 23.
The Washington Street Mall is located at 401 Washington St.
Seaside Heights Restaurant Week
"A Taste of Seaside Heights" Restaurant Week kicks off Friday, May 14 through Sunday, May 23.
A complete list of participating restaurants can be found online.
Diners can also enter to win prizes on the Restaurant Week website, including restaurant gift cards and two free 2021 Seaside Heights daily beach badge coupons.
Ocean County Historical Society Antiques, Crafts & Collectibles Faire
The Faire will be held in the Toms River High School South Cafetorium on Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Over 50 tables will feature antiques, crafts, collectibles, local historical societies’ exhibits, art exhibits, children’s entertainment, music, baked goods and snacks.
Admission costs $2 each day for people 18 and over. Toms River High School South is located at 101 Hyers St.
