Avalon Vaccine Site To Offer Walk-In Vaccinations Wednesday
The COVID-19 vaccines will be available Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis.
AVALON, NJ — Walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations will be available at the Avalon Community Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
There will be 100 vaccine doses available on a first come, first serve basis. The walk-in vaccine supply is currently available on Wednesday only.
The Avalon Community Center will be distributing the Moderna vaccine. A second dose will be automatically scheduled after people receive their initial dose Wednesday.

The Moderna vaccine is only eligible for individuals 18 years old and up. Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old must find another site that provides the Pfizer vaccine.
"This is a great opportunity for people who haven't been able to make an appointment to get their initial dose," said Commissioner Jeff Pierson, the liaison to the Cape May County Department of Health. "We hope people use this chance to protect themselves and continue the progress we have been making in Cape May County."

The Avalon Community Center is located at 3001 Avalon Ave.
