Avalon Vaccine Site Offering Walk-In Vaccine Appointments Monday
The COVID-19 vaccines will be available from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis for Monday only.
AVALON, NJ — The Cape May County Department of Health will provide walk-in COVID-19 vaccine appointments on Monday.
There will be 100 vaccine doses available on a first come, first serve basis at the vaccination clinic in the Avalon Community Center located at 3001 Avalon Ave.
The vaccines will be available from 10 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. The walk-in availability is currently available for Monday only.

The Avalon Community Center will be distributing the Moderna vaccine on Monday. A second dose will be automatically scheduled after people receive their initial dose.
The Moderna vaccine is only eligible for individuals 18 years old and up. Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old must find another site that provides the Pfizer vaccine.

“This is a great opportunity for people who haven’t been able to make an appointment to get their initial dose,” said Commissioner Jeff Pierson, the liaison to the Cape May County Department of Health. “We hope people use this chance to protect themselves and continue the progress we have been making in Cape May County.”
