Both Ocean City Basketball Teams Defeat Absegami

Emma Finnegan scored 17 in a comeback victory for the girls team, while Donovan Graham scored 19 for the boys.

Ocean City's girls and boys basketball teams both defeated Absegami on Wednesday. The girls team defeated the Lady Braves, 50-44, in a comeback victory, according to NJ.com. The boys team, meanwhile, earned a 67-43 victory against Absegami, NJ.com reported.

Down by 10, Ocean City's girls team went on a 17-11 run in the fourth quarter to clinch the victory. Emma Finnegan led the Red Raiders with 17 points, while Danielle Donoghue recorded 11 points and Savanna Holt added seven points.

In the boys game, Donovan Graham led Ocean City with 19 points. Joey Sacco recorded 15 points, while Ian Aungst chipped in 10 points. The Red Raiders led, 33-13, at halftime, outscoring Absegami, 25-13 in the third quarter.
