Chipotle Mexican Grill Opens In Somers Point

SOMERS POINT, NJ — Chipotle Mexican Grill recently opened in Somers Point. And it has a unique wrinkle: a "Chipotlane," or a drive-thru designated for picking up digital orders.

Chipotle (210 New Rd.) opened last week for takeout, mobile pickup and contactless delivery. It is open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, and each Chipotle location brings about 25 jobs.

The restaurant takes the former location of the former Boston Market. Somers Point officials also approved a Taco Bell to open at 331 New Rd. Read more: Chipotle, Taco Bell To Open Just Outside Ocean City

Chipotle in Somers Point can also help with fundraising for community causes, giving back 33 percent. Brand-new digital fundraiser codes can help raise even more money, increasing fundraiser access for customers who prefer to digitally order ahead, enter the unique fundraiser code, and then pick up and carry out from the participating restaurant.
