NEW JERSEY – A storm is expected "clip" New Jersey on Friday and Saturday, causing the potential for flooding, rain and even some snow in parts of the Garden State.

The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory in seven New Jersey counties since a storm with "hurricane-force" winds is located off the coast and could impact the tides.

Much of the state should expect rain after 12 noon, and some snow could arrive after 7 p.m. in North Jersey, thought it's not supposed to stick. It could cause some driving hazards, however.
