Elderly Woman Dies In Longport Crash
Preliminary investigation revealed the driver backed into the pedestrian, police said.

LONGPORT, NJ — An elderly pedestrian was killed Sunday afternoon after a vehicle hit her in Longport, according to police. Authorities identified the victim as Lillian Myers, 85, of Stratford.
The crash took place at about 1 p.m. around Pacific and Yarmouth Avenues. A man driving a Ford F-150 backed into Myers, police said.
No charges have been announced at this time. Longport police and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the crash.
