No Injuries Reported In Ocean City Acme Parking Garage Fire
No injuries were reported, but the 800 West Ave. store is closed until further notice.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — A fire broke out Sunday afternoon in the Acme Markets parking garage on 800 West Ave. No customers, employees or firefighters sustained injuries, but the store is closed until further notice.
The Ocean City Fire Department received a call about the fire at 12:55 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 1:15 p.m., limiting visible damage to the concrete garage area.
The store had been evacuated.

The cause remains under investigation. Cape May County Health Department inspectors are on the scene, officials said Sunday afternoon.
The Margate Fire Department, Marmora Fire Company and Upper Township Rescue Squad provided mutual assistance.
