Flood Watch In Ocean City As Tropical Storm Isaias Approaches
The National Weather Service issued a flood watch in effect from Monday evening to Tuesday night.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Ocean City as Tropical Storm Isaias approaches. The flood watch lasts from Monday night through Tuesday evening.
High tides are projected for 9:04 p.m. Monday, 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. Because of a full moon, the Monday and Tuesday night tides could get higher than normal.

- Monday: A slight chance of showers before 8am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Monday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy, with a low around 75. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
- Tuesday: Tropical storm conditions possible. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 82. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
- Tuesday night: Tropical storm conditions possible. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Ocean conditions are expected to become more dangerous as the storm approaches. Swim only at beaches that the Ocean City Beach Patrol are guarding, and stay out of the water if the OCBP closes beaches, officials said.
