The Flyers introduced their new mascot, Gritty, in September. He quickly ascended from the image of your nightmares to a fan and internet sensation with over 250,000 Twitter followers.

Gritty streaks through the infield Feb. 23 during the 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series game against the Penguins.

Much has been learned about Gritty in the past year. He claims he's been around a lot longer than we know and that recent construction at the Wells Fargo Center disturbed his secret hideout, according to his official bio. He has several quirks, including eating snow straight from the Zamboni machine.
