HGTV's 'Beachfront Bargain Hunt' Features Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, NJ — A new family recently moved to Ocean City. Cody and Ceiara Panetta's search for the perfect home was featured in a new episode of HGTV’s "Beachfront Bargain Hunt.”

Ocean City realtor Brian Logue gave the couple a taste of the city, showcasing several homes and attractions for a national audience.

Each episode features a family attempting to find a beachfront home on a budget. Ocean City was also featured on the show last year.

The latest episode to feature Ocean City is currently available on the Discovery+ streaming platform in episode three of season 28 titled “New Job In Ocean City.”

The episode may air on live television in the future, but Logue said an air date hasn’t been confirmed yet.

When Logue was contacted by an HGTV agent, he knew his clients Cody and Ceiara, along with their three children, would be an ideal fit to be featured on the show.

“They had a good story. They’re moving to Ocean City year-round, which is not our typical shore buyer,” Logue said.

The Panettas began house hunting in Ocean City after Cody opened a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Egg Harbor Township.

Ceiara’s ties to Ocean City go back to her own childhood when she visited the beach and boardwalk with her family during summers.

“Our buyers tend to have such passion for the island as well,” Logue said. “It’s such a dream come true for so many people to be here."
