Man Found Dead On Avalon Beach: Police

Authorities said there is no evidence of foul play in the death of a 21-year-old man, who was found on the beach in Avalon.

AVALON, NJ — A man was found dead on an Avalon beach on Thursday, police said.

Avalon police responded to a report of an unconscious man on the 80th Street beach at 7:13 a.m. Authorities determined the man had been dead for several hours.

Police identified the man as a 21-year-old from Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Authorities said there is no evidence of foul play in the preliminary investigation.

The Avalon Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the incident.
