OCEAN CITY, NJ — Stop signs are being installed at two Ocean City intersections to improve traffic safety, city officials have announced.

On Tuesday, a stop sign was installed at the intersection of Ninth St. and Atlantic Ave. for traffic traveling west at Ninth St., the city said. Within the next couple of weeks, the eastbound approach to the intersection will be marked for left turn only and straight-only lanes. New shoulder signage and road stenciling paint will be added to assist with traffic flow, according to city officials.

On Wednesday, a new stop sign will be installed at Waverly Blvd. and East Seaspray Rd. for traffic moving east on Waverly Blvd.
