Ocean City Boys Win, Girls Fall At Seagull Classic
The Two Red Raiders basketball teams have seen success through the first month of the season.

OCEAN CITY, NJ - The Ocean City High School boys basketball team continued its run of success in showcase games with a win in the Seagull Classic over the weekend.
The Red Raiders defeated Howell, 64-56, at the event at Holy Spirit High School in Absecon on Sunday, according to nj.com. Gannon Brady led the way with 25 points, followed by Joey Sacco with 13, Donovan Graham with 11 and Luke Varallo with 10.
The Seagull Classic was re-launched last year. The original Seagull Classic ran from 1972-90, and has featured such names as Albert King, Jamal Mashburn and current Oklahoma City Thunder coach Billy Donovan, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

After also going undefeated at the Boardwalk Classic in Wildwood over the holiday break, Ocean City is now 6-2 on the season. The only losses were a one-point defeat at the hands of Burlington City and a three-point loss to Holy Spirit. To view Ocean City’s entire season schedule and results, visit nj.com.
The Ocean City girls also competed at the Seagull Classic, falling to Lenape, 54-32, according to nj.com. Savanna Holt led Ocean City with 12 points. The girls are 5-3this season, with a majority of their wins coming by at least 20 points.
