Ocean City Girls Make CAL Championship For 5th Straight Year
Ocean City will face Middle Township in the Cape-Atlantic League finals on Saturday.
The Ocean City girls basketball team has made the Cape-Atlantic League championship for the fifth straight year. The Red Raiders defeated Wildwood Catholic, 64-42, Thursday to clinch their finals appearance.
Ocean City will face Middle Township in the finals at noon Saturday at Stockton University. Danielle Donoghue recorded 15 points and five rebounds in the victory.
Tori Rolls posted 12 points and a team-leading five assists. Abbey Fenton had 13 points, while Savanna Holt recorded nine points and five boards.

Ocean City reached the finals for the ninth time overall and fifth time in a row, according to the Press of Atlantic City.
