Ocean City High To Make Ornaments For Washington D.C.
Ocean City High School is one 56 schools across the nation chosen to create ornaments for the Christmas display Washington D.C.

OCEAN CITY, NJ - The artwork of Ocean City High Schoolers will be on display for the entire country to see. Ocean City High School was chosen as one of 56 schools to create ornaments for the national Christmas tree display in Washington D.C., according to a release from the National Park Service.
The National Christmas Tree, which will be lit up on November 28, will be surrounded by 56 smaller trees, representing all the states and territories, according to the National Parks Service. For each smaller tree, a school has been chosen to decorate it. This year, Ocean City High School has the honor of representing New Jersey.
The schools will choose and create ornaments that have a representation for something that holds true to the state, according to the National Parks Service. Last year, the Trenton Community A-TEAM created ornaments that had mini-dioramas inside representing the holidays.
