Ocean City Man Killed In Two-Car Crash: Police
A 66-year-old Ocean City man died Tuesday night in a car crash at Ninth Street and Bay Avenue in Ocean City, authorities said.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — A 66-year-old Ocean City man died Tuesday night in a car crash, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Ocean City Police Chief Jay Prettyman said in a joint statement Wednesday.
Ocean City police and EMS responded to the intersection of Ninth Street and Bay Avenue at 6:10 p.m. for a report of a serious motor vehicle crash.
Kevin Farrell, 48, of Somers Point was driving a 2005 Mercury Sable as he attempted to turn left onto Bay Avenue from Ninth Street, police said. Farrell’s vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a westbound 2018 Jeep Wrangler operated by Ruddy Narvaez, Jr., 33, of Galloway.

The front seat passenger of the Mercury Sable, John Andrew, 66, of Ocean City was taken to Shore Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The exact cause and manner of death are pending autopsy results.

Farrell was taken to the Atlantic City Medical Center where he is currently being treated for his injuries.
The crash is still under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
