Ocean City Names Local Coffee Bar Owners Citizen Of The Year

OCEAN CITY, NJ - The Citizen of the Year award in Ocean City is going to a couple this year. Jon and Patty Talese, of Jon and Patty's Coffee Bar and Bistro have been named as Citizen of the Year by the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, according to the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce.

This isn't the first time that Jon and Patty Talese have been honored by Ocean City Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, they were named Outstanding New Business when they first opened, according to the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Both Jon and Patty are active in the community, supporting the shop local movement and having a dinner weekly they call "Thanksgiving" that gives 10 percent of the proceeds to the Food Cupboard to help those less fortunate, according to the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, they serve on the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, Ocean City Tourism Development Commission, Business and Neighborhood Development and Downtown Merchants Association.

Jon and Patty Talese will receive their award on Tuesday, November 13th at The Flanders Hotel during the yearly Chamber of Commerce dinner.
