Ocean City Offering Free Rabies Clinic
Ocean City's rabies clinic will take place Jan. 26 at the Ocean City Fire Department.

The best time for a rabies vaccination is right meow. Ocean City will host a free rabies clinic from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Ocean City Fire Department on 550 Asbury Ave.
New Jersey law states that anyone owning, keeping or harboring a dog who is 7 months or older or has a set of permanent teeth in the month of January must procure a license and official metal tag from the Municipal Clerk's Office (861 Asbury Ave., Ocean City).
To receive a dog license, pet owners must first supply a rabies vaccination certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian indicating that your pet's duration of immunity extends throughout the first 10 months of the 12-month licensing period.
