Ocean City Pizzeria To Permanently Close Sunday
Tony P's House of Pie served Boardwalk customers for five years.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — It's a sad day for many Ocean City pizza aficionados. Tony P's House of Pie will close permanently after five years.
The Boardwalk eatery will close its doors Sunday. Tony P's offered the vibe of a classic New Jersey pizza parlor right along the beach.
Favorites included the Tony P's special, a pizza which included white cheddar, barbecue chipotle sauce, horseradish sauce, bacon, mushrooms, red onions, scallions and jalapeños.

Despite the news, Tony P's reminded everyone on its Facebook page to be optimistic, sharing a quote attributed to Dr. Seuss: "Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
"It has been a privilege to have the ocean as our backdrop; the activity of the boardwalk to provide a steady stream of customers; and a community that has been both loyal and supportive," the business wrote.
