​Ocean City Police Continue To Investigate Alleged Assault

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect involved with an assault in September.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Police Department is continuing to investigate an assault that took place in September. Police uploaded pictures of the suspect and his vehicle hoping the public can identify him.

The incident occurred at 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 5 around 18th Street and Central Avenue, police said. In addition to the assault, police said the suspect attempted to lure the woman to his vehicle.


The suspect is a white male, 50-60 years old and about 6 feet tall and 230 pounds. He was operating a newer-model, black Jeep Grand Cherokee with an unknown Pennsylvania license plate and dark tinted front and rear windows, police said.
