Ocean City Police Sergeant Faces Sexual Assault Charges
An Ocean City Police Sergeant has been charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ — An Ocean City Police Sergeant has been charged with sexual assault, authorities said.
Tyrone Rolls, 50, of Marmora, turned himself into the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, the CMCPO said in a statement.
He has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, official misconduct and aggravated assault of a domestic violence victim.

An investigation by the CMCPO's Special Victims Unit found Rolls had a sexual relationship with a juvenile.
He is lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center pending court proceedings.
