Ocean City Prepares For New Year's Eve Celebration

OCEAN CITY, NJ — We're a little more than halfway through 2019, but tickets for Ocean City's First Night celebration are available now. Families can take advantage of a discount for all-inclusive admission buttons.

The buttons are on sale for $15. Purchase them online at firstnightocnj.com, by calling 609-399-6111, or in-person at the City Hall Welcome Center (9th Street and Asbury Avenue), the Roy Gillian Welcome Center (on the causeway leading to Ninth Street) and the Ocean City Music Pier Box Office (Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace).

The popular nonalcoholic New Year's Eve celebration features more than 70 entertainers at 20 different Ocean City locations from 4-11:59 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31.A fireworks display rings in the new year at midnight.

New entertainment and activities for First Night 2020 will feature the legendary disco sounds of the Trammps, Disney’s Imagination Movers, the Duprees with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra, an interactive Country Line Dance experience, the Harlem Wizards Basketball Stunt Act, the Hegeman String Band, the Legacy Band, the family musical “Elephant & Piggies: We Are In A Play” and much more.

Returning favorites include the ice-skating rink, inflatables, Salazar Magician, Dan Cain Mentalist, the Philly Keys Dueling Piano Show, magician Chad Juros and the Men of Broadway.
