Ocean City School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Ocean City is September 6. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Ocean City School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/28: Intermediate School Back to School Night

• 10/18: Early Dismissal for Students (Staff PM In-Service)
• 10/24 - 10/26: Early Dismissal for PS/IS Students (Parent/Teacher Conferences)

November

• 11/8: No School for Students (Staff In-Service)
• 11/9 - 11/10: No School (NJEA)
• 11/22: District-Wide Early Dismissal
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/22: District-Wide Early Dismissal
• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Winter Recess)

January
