Ocean City Sets Up Trick-Or-Treating Times

Kids in Ocean City are going to be able to trick-or-treat from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

OCEAN CITY, NJ - Kids in Ocean City will have three hours to get their yearly trick-or-treating done. Ocean City has set trick-or-treating hours as 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Halloween, according the Ocean City Police.

Ocean City will also be having a zero-tolerance approach on criminal mischief during the Halloween season, according to Ocean City Police. Anyone caught will be subject to the full extent of the New Jersey Criminal Code and extra officers will be on patrol.

Ocean City Police are asking citizens to be proactive in helping to stop any vandalism. While toilet paper and eggs may seem like juvenile fun, it causes stress to property owners every year who fall victim to the misdeeds, according to the Ocean City Police. Anyone who sees acts like this should report it to the Ocean City Police.
