Ocean City's Lashley Throws No-Hitter To Open Season
The Ocean City baseball team opened the season with a 10-0 no-hit victory against Oakcrest.
OCEAN CITY, N.J. — You can't begin your season much better than that. Ocean City's Brandon Lashley pitched a no-hitter en route to the baseball team's 10-0 victory Monday against Oakcrest to open the season.
Lashley recorded 10 strikeouts over five innings, throwing 44 strikes in 58 pitches, according to The Press of Atlantic City. He also scored two runs and drove in two.
Jared Millstein recorded three runs and one RBI, while A.J. Campbell posted two runs. Brandyn Pokrass and Tom Breazeale each doubled, while Shane Ferry recorded an RBI.

Coincidentally, another Cape May County pitcher threw a no-hitter Monday. Wildwood Catholic's Ben Church earned the accolade to lead his team to a 12-0 victory against Atlantic City.
