Philly-Based Sub Shop PrimoHoagies Opening In Somers Point

The first 100 customers in the rewards program for the Nov. 20 grand opening will each receive a free Primo Size Hoagie.

SOMERS POINT, NJ — A Philly favorite will open another shop in the Ocean City area. PrimoHoagies will open this Thursday in Somers Point and will give a free hoagie to the first 100 customers for the Nov. 20 grand opening.

To receive the deal, customers be part of the Rewards Program. Text “Primo” to (484) 270-4000 to join.

PrimoHoagies first opened in South Philadelphia. They now have nearly 100 locations, including one in Ocean City.

The Somers Point shop is on 278 New Rd. The first 100 customers in line Nov. 20 will get a free Primo Size Hoagie. For the rest of grand opening day, customers in the rewards program can get the same item for $6.99.

Franchise owners Bob and Stephanie Neville originally lived in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood. They've raised two children — Hailey and Robby — in Upper Township, where Bob volunteered as a coach for several youth softball and baseball teams.

“My family and I have been enjoying PrimoHoagies for years, and we really believe the quality ingredients and commitment to freshness set PrimoHoagies apart from the competition,” Bob Neville said. “We’re excited that now we get to share our favorite hoagies with our neighbors in Somers Point."

They expect to employ 15 people in the 2,000-square foot location, which will offer takeout, delivery and limited indoor seating. PrimoHoagies will also offer catering.

The Somers Point location is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
