CAPE MAY, NJ — A fisherman landed a record-breaking fish in Cape May last week after battling with the sea creature for more than an hour, according to reports

Len Andalis, of Philadelphia, caught a cobia fish in Cape May, New Jersey on Friday last week.

Andalis spent about an hour and a half trying to land the fish, which weighed 90.6 pounds, Action News reports.

According to Action News, the 90.6 pound cobia weighs three more pounds than the previous record, which was set 20 years ago.

Andalis told the Press of Atlantic City that his record-breaking cobia was the first cobia he's ever caught.
