A sampling of events to commemorate the 9/11 attacks
Not all towns are celebrating the 14th anniversary of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Here’s a sampling of those that are.
Ocean City
National September 11th Commemoration, 7 p.m. at the memorial in front of the 6th St. fire house on Asbury Ave.
Galloway
9/11 Ceremony, 7 p.m. at Patriot’s Lake, a monument dedicated to the victims. The four acre lake is located on the Municipal Complex grounds off Jimmy Leeds Road behind the Atlantic Co. Library and Imagination Station.

Somers Point
City of Somers Point Remembrance Service at 8:30 a.m. at Patriot Park on Bethel Rd. with local veterans organizations.
Belmar
Friday night concert with R & B Express presenting “God Bless America,” from 6 to 10 p.m. at Pyanoe Plaza, Main Street and 9th Avenue.
