Tennis Court Lights To Be Replaced In Ocean City

Work will begin Tuesday to replace the lighting at the 5th Street tennis courts. The project is expected to be done in about two weeks.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Work will begin Tuesday to replace the lighting at the 5th Street tennis courts.

The project includes replacing both the poles and lighting, said Mayor Jay Gillian in his weekly update on Friday. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete.

Gillian also announced that the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority project on Bay Avenue is in its final stages with street paving to be completed this week.

The three road projects across the north end of the island and Atlantic Avenue between 5th and North Street are also wrapping up.
